MLM Doesnt Mean Most Lose Money
You’ve probably heard it before MLM most lose money. The sad fact is that a lot of people never make any money in MLM but the industry isn’t always to blame.
I was an MLM failure for many years but it was my own fault and if the masses of MLM failures would ever really look at their own performance they would admit it too.
Most people have been trained to become employees. Go to school get good grades and get a good job. Who hasn’t heard that more than a hundred times? If we’re honest who hasn’t said those very words to their own children? What does go to school etc. really get you?
You work for somebody else for years building their dream helping them become successful. That’s why so many people eventually turn to MLM for a better life. So why do so many people fail?
1. Unrealistic expectations Many people work hard all of their lives and never become successful but as soon as they join an MLM company they expect to become a huge success overnight. It just isn’t going to happen. After a few weeks when they haven’t already become wealthy or achieved unbelievable MLM success they quit. Do they ever look in the mirror and blame themselves? No way. They scream for all to hear MLM doesn’t work!
What they fail to say is that they didn’t work.
2. No MLM training The industry deserves a black eye for this one. Most people get the “go get ‘em tiger” training package. Company training is usually inadequate. Leaders in most companies are so focused on their own ego they spend more time building themselves up and very little time actually caring about the very people that they promise to help.
So how can you become successful? Do not expect to get rich quick. So many MLM companies and distributors have been preaching the “you can make a fortune with very little work” message for so long that they have caused their own demise.
Realize that the most important factor in your success is overlooked by almost everyone. The person you decide to become involved with is more important than anything else. If you make the right decision and find somebody that has not only become successful but somebody that has taught others how to become successful you increase your chance for success dramatically.
Choose your upline wisely. Find out if you really want to have a longterm business relationship with them. Then make the decision to ignore negative people in your life and follow the leader that you have chosen. MLM success may not be easy but it’s a whole lot easier than giving up your entire life building somebody else’s dreams.

MLM Case Study: Stopping Too Soon Right Before You Experience Success
Do you know what is one of the biggest reasons why people fail in network marketing?
Before we name this reason consider this example:

A long distance runner trains for years in order to make it to the Olympic Games. He works for hours every day of the week. He trains with the best trainers he eats clean he lifts weights and he disciplines himself in every area of his life. Finally he reaches the final race. He begins running the marathon representing his home country his family and all runners watching him on television internationally.
The sun is brutal and his body hurts from the strenuous conditions. He finally makes it to the final mile muscles aching and body sore. He speeds up to cross the finish line he leans forward to reach the end.

and right before he reaches the final step he gives up. Because it hurts. Even though he is just feet from the finish line.
So close and yet so far. What a shame.
This example reminds me of most new network marketing representatives. Its very sad but its true. Most people begin their training with high hopes and they work to get closer and closer to experiencing what it means to be a success in this industry. They are just steps away from becoming a leaderbut then they quit because its hard. They arent looking ahead to the final prize and they quit before they can bring forth their successes.
If you really want to see results in your network marketing business you need to be committed to it through thick and thin. You cannot become frustrated because you dont see results immediately. No ancient oak tree started out as tall as a building.
Network marketing is all about exponential growth albeit it might grow VERY SLOWLY at the start nevertheless it is still exponential growth.
Let me put it this way:
When someone makes the leap to become a representative they have to go through network marketing training and break through all of the negative baggage they have been collecting all of their lives. This can take up to an entire year. They have to work through their fear of success and their worries about the future. Its almost as if they need to work extra hard just to break even. This is why people give up so quickly!
But just because you are having trouble looking ahead to your successes doesnt mean that it isnt possible to make it there. Your first success may be small but once you break event your successes will grow exponentially!
Even though one may seem small when it doubles it becomes two. Then two becomes four and so on. Eventually your small success grows to sixtyfour and so on. Once you hit that magical number of four your growth will be evident. All you have to do is keep your eyes on the prize. Take this time to prepare yourself to enjoy your coming success. Hang in there and you will see results.

MLM Business- Opportunity Or Scam?
Are all MLM businesses legit opportunities or are they all scams? Before jumping into any MLM business you may be cautious of the stigma that comes along with it. You know the whole idea of it being a scam or that you have to be at the top of the company to make any money.
Well I’m going to get to the bottom of whether or not MLM or Multilevel marketing businesses are great opportunities or scams. And whether or not you can make money in the company even if the MLM company is 30 years old.
First let me say that there are thousands of great MLM companies that are provide an opportunity for the “average person” to become financially free. They provide quality products. And offer contests that allows its consumers and distributors to enjoy maximum benefits from its products use in a friendly competition that usually awards cash prizes and free products to people who achieves the most from its use.
These companies understand that the survival of their companies lies in its consumers or people who consistently purchase products and services. Therefore they emphasize on finding customers and consumers. And have deep passion for helping people who’ll benefit from its products use. So to say the least most MLM companies are legit opportunities.
However there are some MLM businesses out there that are scams. They fall into two categories of scams. The pyramid scheme and the ponzi scheme.
The pyramid scheme which many people confuse a legit MLM opportunity with is a scheme that pays people solely for enrolling someone usually without any products of services being delivered.
To identify whether or not a MLM business is a pyramid scheme check for the following:
1. If the company keeps implying that it is not a Pyramid scheme
2. An income stream that pays primarily for enrolling people
3. A company with little to no information on products or services
4. the claim that only people who join in the company’s early stage will make any money.
An important fact of a MLM business being a legit opportunity and not a pyramid scheme is that you can generate money from sales of products and services without the consumer having to join or enroll in the company.
The other scam called the Ponzi scheme is when a company brings in enrollments without having any products or services and uses the money gained from the transaction to pay off the people at the top. According to the FTC or Federal Trade Commission there is an expression that nicely summarizes this scheme: Its called stealing from Peter to pay Paul.
So to save yourself the time trouble and money review the MLM company you’re wanting to take part in and make sure they have real products and services.
